Application Information

School Year 2012-2013

Families interested in Berrybrook School are encouraged to schedule a visit while school is in session. Seeing our environments and observing interactions between teachers and children first hand are the best way for parents to become familiar with the Berrybrook philosophy and curriculum. The visits are also provide an opportunity for parents to ask any questions about the program or the admissions process. Families may schedule a visit by contacting the Headmaster.

A nonrefundable $40.00 registration fee must accompany applications, but only one fee is required per family. Enrollment agreements notifying parents about acceptance will be mailed in mid February. Children will be officially placed on a class list upon receipt of a signed enrollment agreement and a non-refundable deposit of the first tuition payment by March 16, 2012. The 2012-2013 Admissions Application can be found here.

When submitting an application, parents should circle their program preference. The placement of children into classes is a process which takes into account individual needs of children, balance in the composition of each class and parent preference. While we would like to honor every preference, space or other factors may limit the number of children assigned to an individual class.

Class Placement

Berrybrook recognizes the importance of attracting and retaining quality staff and maintains an experienced and nurturing faculty, but we are unable to honor requests for specific teachers. Classroom teachers may change from year to year because staff interests, enrollment numbers and other factors impact teaching assignments. Parents are notified about classroom teachers before the school year begins.

*Berrybrook admissions policy does not include a waiver procedure for early entrance into our first or second year programs.
